 Tim Bowers (t-bowers@uiuc.edu).  Tim is Academic Advisor for undergraduate Biology students while working on his PhD dissertation. His research area is paramagnetic MRI contrast agents. 

Hoon Kang . M.D./Ph.D. 
  Note: Hoon is an emeritus member of the lab,  having successfully defended and deposited his PhD dissertation in Chemistry, and has his M.D. He is now in diagnostic residency in California and visiting IERC occasionally to finish manuscripts from his doctoral work.		    
Dr. Tatyana Smirnova  (tatyana smirnova@ncsu.edu). Note: Tatyana is an emerita member of IERC, having received her Ph.D. in physical chemistry, held an NIH postoctoral fellowship, and moved on to a faculty position in the North Carolina State University Chemistry Department.
